1: How to I list my property on your website?
You need to 'sign up' to be a member in order to list your rental with us. You can access the 'sign up' form from our homepage menu. Once you have registered you will be sent your username and password via email. You will then be able to sign into your account by accessing the members area from our homepage menu ('Owner login'). Once logged in you will be able to add your property by selecting 'properties' from the admin menu, 'manage properties, and then 'add property' option on screen which appears with a green plus (+) beside it. The next step is to enter all your property details in the details form. Save this form and move on to add photos, rates and availability, by selecting the different page icons at the top of the screen. You can also choose to add content in either French or Spanish, by choosing the 'content in other languages' option in each section of the listing. The last stage is making payment for your listing. Once you have paid for your listing, you will need to assign your listing to your purchased package. You can do this by going into 'properties' on the admin menu and then 'manage properties'. Next select the pencil icon beside your listing, go to the payment page (last page icon at the top), select the package that you purchased, and then 'save'. Once you have done this your listing will be active and you can go on to add the rest of the photos for your listing. can then go back and add further information and upload multiple photos.
Notes:
SEO title= Title to be used when your listing appears search engines. SEO keywords= keywords to be used for search engine to help holidaymakers find your listing.
The system will only allow you to upload 1 photo before your listing has been paid for. Once you have purchased your listing package and it has been assigned to your listing, you can then go back and add as many photos as your package allows.
2: I have completed my listing, but I cannot see it on the website
Please check that your listing has been assigned to the listing package that you paid for. You may do this by logging into your account, selecting 'properties' from the admin menu, then 'manage properties' and then selecting the pencil icon next to your listing. Go to the payment page to view your paid listing package. Select the radio button (small circle) next to the package, and then select 'save'. This will assign your property to your paid listing package and will activate your listing.
3: I have uploaded photos but they do not appear on my listing
Please check that your photos are active. If a photo is active it will have a green square beside. If a photo is not active, it will have a red square beside it. To change photos to the active status, simply select the photos to be activated (by ticking the check box beside each photo) and then from the 'choose action' pull-down menu at the top left of the screen, choose the option: 'enable'.
4: Uploading photos
The number of photos that you may include in your listing are detailed in the package you chose at the time of payment. Information can also be found in our 'advertise with us' section of the website.
Notes:
- Maximum size per photo is 1300x1300.
If you have problems uploading your photos, this may just be a temporary site error, or perhaps your photos are too large. We encourage you to make another attempt at uploading the photos at a later time. Should you still encounter problems, please email your photos to:
admin@holiday-homesrus.com
and we will add these to your listing for you. Please quote listing number when sending photos.
5: I have not received my log-in information
In the first instance, please check your junk/spam inbox for your member registration email. If you do not find the email, you may also visit the 'owner login' section of the website where there is the option to reset your password and have it resent. If you still experience problems, please contact us so that we can solve this directly.
6: I cannot log into my account
Should you be experiencing problems logging into your account, you may solve this by accessing the 'owner login' page and resetting your password by selecting the 'forgot password' option. You will be emailed a new password. Try logging in with your new password. If you are still experiencing problems, please contact us so that we can look into the matter.
7: Payments - I am unable to pay by credit card
Should you have any problems making payment via credit or debit card, there is also the option to pay via bank transfer. Choose this option on the payment page and you will be given our bank details to make payment at your local bank. Please note however that your bank may charge for this service. We also impose a £7.00 administration fee for this service. UK residents may also pay via cheque or postal order. All payments must reference your username and property number. Should we not receive payment within 10 days, your listing will be deactivated.
